안녕하세요, 전남대학교 국제협력과 유학생지원팀입니다.

이 메일은 유학생 대상 2024년 1학기 성폭력 예방 교육 이수에 대한 안내 메일이며 2024년 4월 1일 기준 재학 또는 휴학 중인 외국인 유학생 전체를 대상으로 발송하는 이메일입니다.

한국 교육부에서는 외국인 유학생의 원활한 유학 생활 지원을 위하여 유학생 대상 성폭력 예방교육(연 1회 1시간 이상 의무) 실시를 전국 대학에 요청하였습니다.

이에 따라 모든 유학생은 1년에 1회 성폭력 예방 교육을 이수해야 하며, 성폭력 예방 교육은 전남대 폭력예방교육 홈페이지를 통해 온라인으로 이수할 수 있습니다. 이수방법은 아래 내용과 붙임파일을 참고하여 주시기 바랍니다.

나. 이수방법: 전남대 폭력예방교육 홈페이지를 통한 온라인 이수

다. 교육언어: 한국어 / 영어 (한국어 동영상과 영어 동영상 중 본인이 더 편한 언어를 선택하여 1개의 동영상만 시청하시면 됩니다.)

라. 교육시간: 약 2시간

성폭력 예방 교육을 미이수할 경우, 향후 국제협력과 프로그램 참여 제한, 장학선발 제외, 비자 관련 서비스 제한 등 불이익이 발생할 수 있으니 모든 유학생은 반드시 기한 내에 동영상 시청을 완료하여 주시기 바랍니다. (국제협력과에서는 1주일에 한 번씩 유학생의 교육 이수 현황을 확인하여 미이수 학생을 대상으로 계속 이수 안내할 예정입니다.)

* 참고로, 성폭력 예방 교육은 외국인 유학생뿐만 아니라 한국인 학생도 의무 대상입니다.

외국인 유학생의 교육 이수율이 낮을 경우, 해당 대학 소속 외국인 유학생은 비자 연장 신청 시 성적에 상관없이 모두 은행잔고 증명서를 제출해야 하는 등 불이익이 발생하므로 모든 외국인 유학생은 적극적으로 교육 이수에 참여해 주시고 다른 유학생과도 공유 바랍니다. 감사합니다.

Hello, this is Office of International Affairs of CNU.

This is an email to all international students who are enrolled (or on leave of absence) as of April 1, 2024, regarding the “How to take a course of Prevention of Sexual Violence” for the spring semester of 2024 academic year.

The Ministry of Education in Korea officially requested all universities to offer a class of “Prevention of Sexual Violence” with international students so that they can settle down into the Korean society well. (The class must be conducted once a year for at least one hour.)

In this regards, all international students in CNU must take a course of “Prevention of Sexual Violence” once a year and the course is provided online for your convenience. Please read the below and find the attachment to check how to take the course.

A. Period of course taking: by August 23, 2024

B. How to take: Watching a video clip on the web-site(online)

C. Language of the course: English or Korean(Please choose a language you feel much comfortable. You do not need to take both of them.)

D. Course duration: about 2 hours

Failure to complete the course before the due date may result in disadvantages, including restrictions on participation in programs offered by OIA , exclusion from scholarship selection, and restrictions on visa documents reception, etc. Adding to this, if the completion rate is lower than the criteria set by the Ministry of Education, all international students belonging to CNU may have disadvantages such as mandatory submission of bank balance statement regardless of their academic grade when applying for visa extension.

Therefore, please make sure to complete the course before the due date mentioned above to avoid any disadvantage.

* OIA will check students’ completion status every week and will contact students of incompletion separately.

* For your information, the program of Sexual Violence Prevention is mandatory for Korean students as well as international students.

韩国教育部为了促进外国留学顺利地度过留学生活,要求全国大学进行性暴力预防教育及韩国法令的理解教育（每年一次，一小时以上义务接受教育）。

因此,所有留学生每年都要接受一次性暴力预防教育,性暴力预防教育可以通过全南大学暴力预防教育网站在线进行。 进修方法请参考以下内容和附件

-教育语言：韩语/英语（在韩语视频和英语视频中,选择本人更方便的语言,只观看一个视频即可）

-教育时间：大约两个小时

如果未接受性暴力预防教育,今后可能会有参与国际协力科活动的限制、奖学选拔除外、签证相关服务限制等不利因素,请所有留学生务必在期限内完成视频观看（国际协力科将每周确认一次留学生接受教育的现状，以未接受教育的学生为对象继续引导其接受教育）。

*作为参考，性暴力预防教育不只是外国留学生，韩国学生也是义务对象。

如果外国留学生的教育进修率低,该大学所属的外国留学生在申请延长签证时,无论成绩如何,都要提交银行余额证明书等,因此请所有外国留学生积极参与教育进修,并与其他留学生共享。谢谢。
